Release Dates of Marvel TV Shows to Take Place in 2023, 2024 and Beyond
We’ve put together a list of all confirmed upcoming Marvel TV shows that will go live in the next few years, including release dates, and what we know about how the story ties into the larger MCU.

2 | What If…? Season 2 | Early 2023 | “What If…?” flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles. Season 2 of “What If…?” will release exclusively on Disney+. |
3 | Echo | Summer 2023 | The origin story of Echo revisits Maya Lopez, whose ruthless behavior in New York City catches up with her in her hometown. She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward. |
4 | Loki Season 2 | Summer 2023 | Loki season 2 will likely see our Loki variant trying to fix things, and work with the Mobius and Hunter B-15 who do not remember him. |
5 | X-Men ‘97 | Fall 2023 | The series will begin with an “impactful event” that brings the X-Men back together. |
6 | Ironheart | Fall 2023 | Inspired by Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man, and determined to follow in his heroic footsteps, fifteen-year-old super-genius Riri Williams builds her own suit of advanced armor and leads a life of adventure, crime-fighting, and humanitarianism as the Super Hero known as Ironheart. |
7 | Agatha: Coven Of Chaos | Winter 2023 | Agatha: Coven Of Chaos will focus on Agatha Harkness, the villain of WandaVision |
8 | Daredevil: Born Again | Spring 2024 | Daredevil follows Kingpin to a nearby lot where some homeless are warming themselves over a fire they started in a barrel. |
9 | Spider-Man: Freshman Year | 2024 | The animated series follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU, with a journey unlike we’ve ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots |
10 | Marvel Zombies | 2024 | The story is set in an alternate universe where the world’s superhero population has been infected with a virus which turned them into zombies |
11 | Wonder Man | TBA | In Marvel Comics, Wonder Man was originally a supervillain imbued with ionic energy, before changing his ways and being reborn as a superhero. |
12 | Untitled Wakanda TV Series | TBA | All that is known of the series thus far, is that Danai Gurira will reprise her role as Okoye, the head of the Dora Milaje from the Black Panther films. |
13 | Untitled Nova series | TBA | In March 2022, a series centering around the Marvel Comics character Nova was confirmed to be in development at Marvel Studios from writer Sabir Pirzada. Not a lot is known about the Nova project, aside from the fact that Marvel Studios have been considering turning the series into a Marvel Studios Presentation after the success of Werewolf By Night. |
14 | Vision Quest | TBA | The series will see the return of Paul Bettany in the role of Vision, centering on the character after the events of WandaVision, attempting to regain his memory and humanity while searching for Wanda Maximoff/the Scarlet Witch. |
